MiStats needs to be on the same network as the Mitel controller and and be able to access port 1752 on the controller.
If you are unable to access the Mitel controller it is possible that the Windows Firewall is stopping you. For instructions on allowing an application through the windows firewall please read the Microsoft Windows Firewall guide

Where does MiStats store its data?
MiStats stores its data in a SQLite file. This is usually located in your My Documents folder in a sub-directory called MiStats.
This location can be changed in the Setting panel in MiStats.
How can I back up my call records?
There are two ways to backup your call records.
You can copy your MiStats Call Record database file (by default in the My Documents/MiStats/ folder) to a safe location. This should only be done when MiStats in closed and not running
The alternative method is run a search for All calls (without any parameters) in the Search Call Records tabs and then click "Export to File". This will then ask you to save a comma seperated text file that can be opened with Excel or other spreadsheet software

I installed MiStats, but when run it for the first time it takes a long time to start.
MiStats will set up an SQLite database when it is run for the first time. This might take up to minute, depending on the speed of your computer. Once the database is set up, MiStats should start up much faster.
